MESH user interface

The MESH user interface is a simple client which allows users to send and receive messages from their MESH mailbox.

Overview

The MESH user interface (UI) is a simple service,  which enables users to get set up quickly and start using their MESH mailboxes.

Key features

 These include:

  • intuitive browser UI
  • easy to set up and get working
  • allows files up to a maximum of 100Mb to be sent or received
  • accessible over the internet or HSCN/N3

Use cases

Use this user interface for:

  • sending or receiving files up to a maximum of 100Mb (50Mb over Internet, 100Mb over HSCN)
  • sending and receiving low numbers of messages
  • out of the box solution

Avoid using the user interface for:

  • large numbers of messages
  • deeper integrations such as where you wish to use advanced MESH REST API features
  • tracking messages other than those sent by the MESH UI
Message tracking option is available through the MESH Online Enquiry Service (MOLES)
This is NOT covered by the MESH UI guide below.

If you need to send or receive larger numbers or volumes of messages, consider the MESH client instead.
