MESH client guide

The MESH client is a Java application which offers a faster path to live when compared with the MESH REST API.

Use the MESH client for:

• sending or receiving files up to a maximum of 20Gb
• sending or receiving a high volume of messages
• out of the box solution
• basic message tracking
  Tracking is limited to MESH messages which were successfully sent and weren’t downloaded by the recipient within five days

Avoid using the MESH client for:

• deeper integrations - such as where you wish to use advanced MESH REST API features

These include:

• easy to follow installation guide

• allows a high volume of messages to be sent or received

• allows files up to a maximum of 20Gb to be sent or received

• configurable to work with multiple MESH mailboxes to create a broadcast, using a MESH Client to MESH Client interface

• integrate over HSCN/N3 or the Internet

• message tracking

Files larger than 20Mb should be chunked if sent over Internet. Files larger than 100Mb should be chunked if sent over HSCN.

To use the MESH client:

1. Complete the list of prerequisite tasks before installing the client.

2. Once the client is installed and configured, read through the Reference Guide.

3. Users should then be able to use the MESH client to send and receive files.
